Elijah took the Stone from her hand, he could feel the pulsing in his hand as he lifted Corey’s head. Placing the Stone to Corey’s lips he pushed the pulsating stone into Corey’s mouth.
Opening his eyes Corey Looked at Elijah. He started to chew rhythmically. “what is it?” he asked weakly. It tastes like meat.”
“I dunno, Auntie Gave it to me. She said it would help, do you feel better?” Elijah asked as Corey tried to sit up.
Corey looked at Elijah. Actually, yeah I feel pretty damn good. And my stomach doesn’t hurt as much. He reached down and gasped as the torn flesh felt smooth and untorn. “What the Hell?!” he Sat up. “Elijah What the Fuck did you do? I’ve told you not to use Magick on me!” He backed away into the corner farther and grunted as a Hoe fell and hit him on the head.
Elijah looked at him, “Corey, I didn’t..I wouldn’t without asking.. You know that goes against everything I’ve been taught. He reached a hand out to Corey. Let me help you out.
Corey batted Elijahs hand away. “Leave me alone!, I don’t want you touching me! I’ve had enough of your magic and your Aunties fucked up problems. I lost everything because of people like you! He Got to his feet and darted out the door “LEAVE ME ALONE!”
Elijah stared in disbelief as Corey ran off. “Auntie? Why would he say that? Why Would?” Elijah looked around as he realized auntie was nowhere to be found.”Auntie?”
Corey ran and ran until his legs hurt. He ran so far and so hard he didn’t recognize where he was. He sat down and cried. He was so angry, he was so tired, his stomach hurt and he felt tingly all over. Standing and pacing back and forth he tried to make sense of the last hour. It was blank all he remembered was the Dolphin. And a White smile in the darkness. Fury poured through him and he turned and struck out. The Tree next to him shook as Corey’s fist took a large chunk out of the side of it. Corey yanked his hand back and looked at in astonishment. “What the Hell?”
Corey spun as a voice came from the darkness.
“You are stronger; you are also faster and much, much more dangerous. You will feel a hunger as you have never known before.” Auntie walked out of the Shadows. “You will lose control of your temper much easier and you will want to kill. You will be able to see in the dark, you will be able to smell things that no human can and you will be alone for most of your life.”
