Oh well maybe next year

Well, It was fun while it lasted. but I forgot to post yesterday, My Girlfriend was off and we spent a great day together. To Me that was worht more than a competition that cost mwe noghthing to lose lol.

I had a lot of fun in the copetition and look forward to competing next year. Good luck to everyone out there. IMBC...See ya!

My Nephew.
Mood:  down

MY Nephew was born this morning, he is my newest nephew *note this is usually where I would insert a witty comment that I have six nieces and nephews but only one sibling but I digress,* Unfortunately he was born with problems, his skull is unfinished and he has a hole in his head. he only weighed 4 lbs. 11 ounces. His urethra is in the wrong position *note: peepee hole no where it should be* and he has a divided scrotum. *Two seperate sacs* To top it off he was not breathing for the first five minutes of his new life. now me and my sister don't get along most of the time and my opinion of her mothering skills is well known to my friends but, I wouldnt wish this on anyone let alone my own flesh and blood.

For those of you who don't know me, I am Pagan I do not follow Christianity and I am OK with that. The rest of my family however is Christian and I respect them for that. so if You are reading this Please pray to God, or the Gods or what ever divinity you feel comfortable with and ask them to help out. This innocent’s life is not worth an end before it begins.

I'm sorry to those of you who were looking forward to the next installment of FOTG today, I will pick it up tomorrow I promise. But for today I am worried about my nephew *who doesn’t even have a name yet* and need to focus on that. 

This is a Blessing That a friend of mine wrote years ago. For those of you who are pagan it is a good one for a sick child Just thought I would share. 

“May the Goddess shelter in her hands the life of this child, For whom life has not yet begun, may he find health and prosperity even under these difficult conditions, I ask the Mother, the Greatest of Watchers of Children to keep him safe and give him a life full of smiles, and happiness."

ok, So I forgot to post today because I was busy..then I got home and all I wanted to do was sit, then I got called into to work and here I am now, rushing to get 300 words out before 12:00 midnight and I think I have plenty of time, but I don’t have time to do a story entry, so you will get me rambling and maybe I'll stick a Totd in here.

One thing that gets me about this whole IMBC thing is, who reads this? I mean I write this story everyday, and I have no idea if anyone outside my little group of friends reads it, I guess I could put a counter on my site, but I hate those things, I mean a perfect world is everyone who reads would leave a comment but this alas is not a perfect world.  I read almost everyone’s Blog,  I think some of them are interesting and some of them well are just ramblings like this, but it has surprised me that no one has fallen in the last week or so.

Who knows? Maybe we will all just be stubborn enough to make it through..maybe they will have to declare a draw, maybe we can all get together and play many hours of Katamari and buy puppies that are all named after......*Bleargh* 

OK Out of my system...lets see the Totd...Greatness.....yeh I'm drawing a blank, I mean what is Greatness in today’s world...is it the past those things which endure even into today’s world...Ruins, or even traditions and customs. I like to think there greatness left in the world but I also like to think People can be honorable...I am disappointed oftentimes in humanity so to me greatness would be understanding who we are who we were and embracing that to become that which I know it is possible for us to become.

Fall of the Gods Chapter 4 (Cougar) Part 12
Mood:  a-ok

Elijah jumped up and found the jar that she had sent him for. Pulling his personal Dagger from his belt he knelt down next to Auntie and handed her the items. Smiling at him she quickly moved over to Corey, whispering an ancient word a small ball of light bobbed into existence next to her head. She gasped and Elijah let out a small cry as the light revealed Corey laying on the ground his body shredded, Blood running from his eyes , nose and mouth. His intestines lay on his lap a sickly wet pile of raw sausage, the smell of blood and Death filled the air. He lay there with his eyes closed breathing heavily.

“Oh Gods, ..He’s dying. Isn’t he?” Elijah asked as a sickly sweet smell filled the air. He look at his Auntie who had opened the jar, the stone inside was pulsing as she dropped it into her palm.

“Not dying but changing too slowly. I’m afraid I cursed him, the poor boy, he doesn’t know what he’s in for.” She drew the dagger across her hand below the stone, as the blood welled up and the stone seemingly drank it in. “This will help him control the change, I was shown it too late but he will still have problems with the hunger. He will have to kill something every time he changes until he gets used to it.” As she spoke the Stone started a rhythmic beating like a heart. “You will have to watch him, and protect him, there are so few left, and...I won’t be able to do it.” She looked at Elijah and held her hand with the bloody stone beating like a swollen heart. “You must give this to him, He must eat it. Eat it all and swallow it, it is his only choice.”

“Elijah looked between her and Corey, “Auntie what is it? And what are you?”

Don’t Question me boy, I don’t have much time and he has even less Take the damn thing.” Tears were welling up in here eyes.”

Elijah woke up with his head pounding, as his vision cleared and he realized he wasn’t dead. He looked at the cougar laying on the ground at his feet.. “Auntie…are you alive?? He reached out to touch the cougar when Coreys voice came from the darkened corner across from Elijah.

“She’s…Alive *cough* Just Unconcsiouss. *Cough*

“Corey? , you Ok?” Elijah struggled to his feet and started towards his friends voice.

“Stay, there Eli… I’m ..I’m going to see Casey soon. You *Cough* don’t want to come over here.” Coreys voiced sounded strained, and the incessant coughing almost sounded wet.

Corey, you’re scaring me, I’m coming over there to help you, as he started forward he felt something bump his leg. Glanicng back he jumped as his Auntie, Not the cougar was laying on the ground blood running from her forehead. “Auntie!” Elijah turned and looked between her and the darkness that hid Corey.

“Look to her Elijah *Cough* I , I didn’t mean to hurt her. Corey let loose with a scream as his stomach seemed to catch fire, the ruined mess of his intestines lay in his lap, and just now was he beginning to feel the pain.

Corey’s Scream made Auntie open her eyes, “Elijah..what…what Happened?” She tried to sit up and stumbled Elijah caught her and helped her sit up. “Where’s Corey?”

“Auntie… Auntie..you..turned, into a cougar…you umm tried to kill us..And Now…Corey...well Corey was hurt Auntie…I think he’s dying.” Tears streamed down Elijah’s face. “I  Need your help..I don’t know what to do.”

Auntie sat there looking at Elijah..”I Changed? Oh Goddess… I am so sorry my boy..I thought I had that under control…it has been thirty years…”Auntie seemed to be staring off into nowhere as she spoke.

“Auntie! Help ME!” Elijah screamed at his Auntie. He reached out and shook her as Corey was screaming again. “I don’t know what to do!”

Her eyes focused, and she looked at the corey where Corey was hiding. “I …Can . heal him but I can’t fix , him…he’s going to be broken..like me now…Oh Goddess I am so sorry. Looking at Elijah her eys focused. “Quickly boy..there might be a chance, we cannot fix him but perhaps we can help him keep control quickly I need a Dagger, and that stone that is sitting in the clay jar behind me. Move move! boy we haven’t much time!
